Charity Partner

In 2025 the UK OSPAs will be working with Stamp Out Spiking:

Stamp Out Spiking is a Registered Charity (No. 1203101), established to tackle the increasing incidents of spiking across the UK and Worldwide. The charity was founded by a team, with professional experienced in alcohol and drug awareness workshops, concentrating on welfare of young people.

We exist to highlight the dangers of spiking, and offer effective and practical solutions to keep you and your friends safe in pubs, clubs, house parties, festivals and beyond.

Stamp out spiking, are the first port of call for many victims when they have been affected by these cowardly crimes, frustrated with feeling violated with no clear way of what action to take, let alone to gain any justice.  Victims are support by our team, we also link to other organisations such as the police, SARC, Mind, Rape Crisis, Male Victim Support etc. We speak to people who just need to talk with someone who understands what they have experienced and to offer key safeguarding advice.

This year we will be present at festivals and fresher events at colleges and universities, pride events, handing out drink protectors, posters and other resources, spreading the word to help keep people safe.

Stamp out spiking, are working on roundtables with the police and government after successfully campaigning to make spiking a recognised criminal offence. Our founder Dawn Dines attends conferences as a guest speaker, we continue to campaign and speak directly with ministers to ensure spiking is not lost under a wave of bureaucracy and that people get the changes to law that will safeguard future generations. Decades of campaigning is finally getting a result.
