Entries open and new categories added for UK OSPAs 2019

Entry to the 2019 UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) has opened and the event organisers are calling for nominations.

The UK OSPAs are now in their third year and are part of a global awards scheme currently running in 8 countries to recognise and reward outstanding performance across the security sector.

2019 sees the introduction of a number of new categories which have been pioneered to acknowledge both in-house and contracted security personnel and new security products.

Entry is open from 16th July 2018 through to 15th October 2018 and nominations are invited in the following categories:

Outstanding In-House Security Manager/Director             Outstanding Contract Security Manager/Director

Outstanding Security Team                                               Outstanding Contract Security Company (Guarding)

Outstanding Security Consultant                                       Outstanding Customer Service Initiative

Outstanding Security Training Initiative                             Outstanding Security Installer/Integrator       

Outstanding Event Security Team                                      Outstanding Security Partnership

Outstanding Security Equipment Manufacturer                 Outstanding New Security Product

Outstanding Security Officer                                              Outstanding Young Security Professional

Outstanding Cyber Security Initiative                                 Lifetime Achievement Award

The awards provide the opportunity to acknowledge excellence and innovation of individuals and companies who play a vital role in safeguarding UK plc.

Judging of the awards will be undertaken by an independent panel who have been nominated by many of the leading security associations.

The security industry will unite on the 28th February 2019 at the Royal Lancaster London where winners will be announced at a prestigious Awards Ceremony and Dinner.
